My Blazer is a great car and has been maintained very well. Oli changed every 3 months since NEW- not heavily driven - tires rotatated regularly - fluids filled and so on. Had all fluids flushed and replaced clean less than 5 months ago.

#1 Recently I have noticed and occasional leak directly between two front tires. Occurs overnight but not every night. Liquid is oliy - no real tint or color to the liquid. Spot eventually dries w/o leaving much of a mark on the driveway.

#2 My /ac stopped blowing cold air. Had compressor replaced about a year ago ($600) and car was comfortable but has never been cold since the repair.

The air stopped blowing cold about one month ago.

I am not wanting to spend this kind of money again as I may not keep the car if I am approaching the "dump endless money to repairs" phase. We live in Florida and things do dry out etc. I have tried adding Freeon - the meter said there was none present but showed no leak on the gauge. I added one can - no real change noticed. Maybe I just did not add enough. I was also told it needed 8 ozs of oil and 31 ozs of Freeon for capacity. Can you confirm?

Any ideas as to these two issues? Thanks so much - single mom with tight budget.

Have the intake manifold gaskets checked for a coolant leak. This could be the leak that dries up quick. As for the A/C, If it's out of refrigerant, It has a leak. You will probably have to get it leak tested at a shop that can use a U/V light or a "sniffer". There should be NO leakage in the A/C system.
