I tried to start my blazer which has a viper security stystem on it. Everything came on except the engine. It didn't engage at all. There is a fuse marked aux power which was blown and when you try to change it the new fuse blows before you can get it plugged in all the way. The battery is also being drained also. We tried putting in a different battery and it drained it in about fifteen minutes. When you put a freshly charged battery in the vehicle it will start and stay running until you shut the key off. Then when it sits not running for awhile it wont start and the battery is drained.

Sounds like one of the wires for your remote start was incorrectly tied into a "constant" power wire. I see this happen alot with plow motors. My advice is bring it to whoever hooked it up, because they messed up. However, if u have a test light and the time, you can figure it out. Just hook your test light up to the POSITIVE post of your battery. Instead of looking for power, your looking for a bad ground. If your test light lights when you probe a ground, then u have an issue. Fix that. After u go through your wiring, hook the test light you your negative post of your battery, and with the key off, see what has constant power. If they hooked one of your remote start wires to whatever u find that has constant power, than u simply cut that wire, and relocate it. Hope this helps.
