I drove my car to work and when I was going home it didn't start.

I called the my emergency auto service and a mechanic came to my car. At first, the mechanic thought it was just a dead battery so he charged the battery and it sounded like it wanted to start, but it wouldn't turn-over.

He then cleaned the ends of the battery cables to remove the corrosion and rust and still didn't start.

Looked in the air filter to ensure there were no clogs and that wasn't the problem.

The mechanic looked in the fuse box and found that there was one that was broken. The fuse was labeled "ECM I".

He replaced this fuse, but it broke as soon as we tried to start the engine. We tried four times and couldn't figure it out.

Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I can tell you what all is on that circuit. Ignition module-- ignition coil-- all the injectors, voltage circuit--ref voltage to the crank sensor. It could be the electrical circuit to components? Key on, no crank, does it blow the fuse? You could unplug components one at a time, see if makes any difference. Any codes? You could do an ohms test on coil and injectors, with everything disconnected. Without something to point us in the right direction, all I can do is hunt and peck.
