My daughter has been riding around all winter with the AC on and the temp knob turned all the way in the red. She says the vehicle heats just as well as when you turn it to the heat setting. Yesterday she came home and the vehicle was smoking. What damage could she have caused, and have you ever heard of anyone doing this before

Hi don. Eng came home smokeing. Daughter driveing with a/c on. Well dan unfortuneately these probs are not likely associated. As far as driveing with the air on would not effect vehicle. Rather unusual but harmless. Now the smokeing if it was overheating could be a cooling system prob. If oil smoke could be over filled. Leaking oil or even burning oil. What color smoke? Was eng hot? Let me know thanks billymac
