1998 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

we have changed the fuel pump and the van still won't run, I made a mistake I had use starter fluid and the started but it died off and from you can't use starter fluin so being that I have used the fluid is ther anything I need to do to correct the problem to get my van running, oh and I got the van from a family friend and it were sitting down about 2 1/2 years

I'd use a gage and check fuel pressure first. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't one. With the spider fuel system, the fuel pressure key on engine off, 60--66 psi.
