1993 Chevy Astro fuel pump

My motor just quit running today while I was driving. It cranks over real good but will not start. I suspect a fuel pump problem but i've also heard that there is a fuel pump fuse and relay that I should check. Could you tell me where these are located and also if my fuel pump is inside the gas tank or mounted on the outside of the motor somewhere?

I have 1991 astro and fuel pump is in the tank

Sounds like the fuel pump which is located inside the fuel tank. Depending on the model might be the expensive pump and these are notorious problems
