This vehicle starts up in the mourning, and runs good all day if not shut off. When I shut it off the engine gets spark for a second, and then just cranks. After it sits for a long time it will start again.

Thanks for the Info on why a car wont start. The info is very informational. I am wondering if the ignition moduale could cause the engine to not turn over when hot. Could the ecr valve stick from carbon build up and not give a signal to send spark?

More likley a bad module, egr wont kill spark, mods do! Autozone can test it free of charge before you replace it.
