Check engine light with down arrow comes on while driving and shifts out of gear (I’m guessing). when stopped it doesn’t want to move or just inches when gas pedal is pressed/floored. Engine doesn’t go past 2 RPMs but still doesn’t move unless put in L2. My vehicle runs great for having 250,000 miles on it. I recently have had the gas pedal sensor and the body throttle changed on it. The mechanics thought this was the problem. Please help me figure this out. I’ve also just recently changed the canister purge valve. Adding pic of codes pulled at AutoZone.

Good afternoon,

The pictures did not come up. Can you reload them to this post?

When was the last time you change the fluid and filter? I would start there as it is possible the transmission filter is clogged.

I had transmission fluid checked last year about this time from the dealership. Nobody else would touch it because of the mileage. Hopefully the picture shows up now.

The transmission needs to be changed. It does not take a dealer to do this service. Any shop can drop the pan and change the fluid and filter. That very well may be the issue with the light.

The 700 code is for an indicator that there is a transmission code stored.

There should be another code starting with 700. Like 740, 760, or such.

You need a scan tool that can access the transmission to get the code. Some code readers will not read those codes.
