Check engine light pops on a week after it left the shop. In drive at the red light it acts as though it is trying to cut off.

Good morning,
If it feels like it will stall, it could be a couple of things.
It could have a misfire where it is not working on all cylinders. I attached a guide for you for a misfire. Make sure to check the spark plug connections.

Also, it could be a dirty throttle body. I would clean it of all carbon buildup. I attached a guide for you for this as well.
