Engine turns over but doesn't seem to be getting spark. Doesn't do anything that would usually happen when it is trying to start?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, does it sound the same when cranking? In other words, is the engine cranking slower or faster?

If not, we need to determine if it is a spark issue or fuel issue. Here are a few links to help you determine if the engine is getting spark and fuel:

Here is a link that discusses the most common causes of a crank no start condition:

Start with these things and let me know if it is a fuel or spark related issue. Also, if the engine sounds like it is cranking faster than normal, it could be a broken timing belt issue.

let me know,
Joe

Could be a timing belt, if the engine sounds like it is cranking really fast. Loosen the timing cover and have someone crank it while looking at the belt for movement.
