Okay I recently bought my 2004 ford focus second hand and previous owner told me that clutch was on its way out and that was the reason it was sluggish, as I started driving the car I noticed that the instrument cluster wouldnt work and as I would pull up to lights it would stall as I would disengage the clutch revs would drop causing the car to stall but as I would engage to a lower gear the car would pretty much clutch start up again before coming to a stop wouldnt stall but very rough idle, I then turned the a/c on then off and the instrument cluster would start working anyways by the time I got home it was no longer dropping revs when I would disengage clutch but I did notice that the car did have a problem with power taking off in first and second gear it would feel there was near no power to gain momentum I thought it was the clutch being worn out but problem kept getting worse over time so I decided to change spark plugs to see if that was the problem for lack of power and misfire, as I took the first and second spark plugs out I noticed that the plugs were filled with oil which was very concerning, the third and forth plugs were ok and I could tell it had a massive oil leak from the rocket cover so I changed the rocket cover seal and replaced plugs and it seemed to fix the leaks, I noticed that heaps of smoke rushed from my exhaust after starting up the car after replacing these things but thought its just been running off 2 cylinders for how long and that the smoke was just the other 2 cylinders that have been out of action just clearing out old stuff and the smoke went away after driving it around the block, car seemed to have picked up some pace considering it now running off 4 cylinders again but again before I knew it, it started becoming sluggish again even worse than before, my partner decided to give my engine bay a wash with degreaser and water just with the hose, he covered the coil pack with a plastic bag and continued on, I was a bit concerned of this but couldn't tell him different anyways when I started the car back up I felt nervous and noticed it was running very rough on idle but continued to drive it around, it was fine for 2 days then one morning I went out to my car and started it just fine I continued to sit on idle for about 15mins at the same time I put the rear demister on to clear the back window and just as I was about to leave the car stalled there was no check engine lights that come on or anything, I tried to start it again but it would only crank and not actually start this is the first instance ive had a problem starting the car, so I started to problem solve and I have done my 2nd year as a mechanic apprentice but didnt follow through just thought id add that in anyways I checked the basics like fuel and spark, I turned the key to the on position and noticed I could hear the pump prime, so I continued on to take out the camshaft sensor and tested it and again it fell inside the ranges it should so I put it back in and cleaned as much oil as I could from the pronges and adaptor as I could and put it back together then I was stumped and called it a night, Next day I then went inside car and checked all wires to computer and ran a check using the cluster instruments and the only code that came back was DTC p0262 and p9318, I then checked the alternator leads and connections and noticed this valve line coming from the back of the carby but it was snapped off somewhere I found out it snapped from under the fuel rail line, I then disconnected the fuel Injector sensors and also noticed on of the connectors was filled with oil and the rest were bone dry I then continued to look at all the connectors and found a main one that is connected to the wires that is coning from the fuel injector sensors so tried to clean and dry it as much as possible but I am at my whits end with this problem and dont know what to do anymore I ready to just scrap the whole thing. So the car is cranking and not starting correct? It sounds like you have a crankshaft angle sensor that is not working. Can you confirm that you have spark at the ignition system?

Here is a guide look toward the bottom for an easy way to test for spark:

Please run down this guide and report back.
