Car shudders and cruise control light comes on

I recently had a coil pack go so I replaced it and since then my car starts fine, but once it is put in drive and I start driving every now and then the car shudders like it is going to stall for about one second then goes fine again.

When this happens the cruise control light turns on. When it drives fine again the light turns off. I thought it might have been the leads and plugs so I changed them, but problem is still there. Can you help?

Scan for codes and check for a vacuum leak if no codes show have a mechanic scan for codes as it may pick something else up ausing the problem. Try pulling fuse for cruise see if it makes a difference

My chrysler grand voyager 2001 doesnt have a fuse for cruise control. Could the tps cause the surging whilst driving. I noticed when the problem happens and the cruise light comes on causing the car to surge and splutter. If I take my foot off the accelerator for a few seconds the cruise light will go off and 50/50 whether the car willsplutter or drive normal again. I had my chrysler hooked up to a scan tool and still nothig. Any ides on anything else that could cause this. Please help

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner then make sure battery terminal ends are clean if it continues have it checked locally because it sounds intermittent
