My car starts just fine, but it will not go into any gear. At first I thought it was the neutral safety sensor but the car only starts in park or neutral. Then I thought it was the linkage but the shifter is not lose. I was driving down the road heard some kind of click then it stopped moving. Before my trip to West Virginia my dad put fluid in the transmission and it made the trip, but I got home and was riding down the road and next thing you know "click" and no gears! Please help.

Good afternoon.

Common issue for this is the torque converter. It suddenly stops working and leaves you stranded.

2.0? I see no listing for a 2.0 engine?

You need to look on the bottom of the transmission pan. It needs to be the exact transmission. You will see like AXOD or A4NS.

As far as replacement, do you have a lift as the cradle has to be removed which means the engine will need to be supported as it will be hanging free.
