My car is having a fuel problem. We just replaced the fuel pressure sensor, fuel filter and we replaced cylinder 3 coil pack about two months ago but none of that fixed the issue. Last night we bought a PCV valve but haven’t replaced it yet. It will start up just fine and then about 10 seconds later it starts to sputter and then stalls out. I got it read about two weeks ago and the codes were P0171 system too lean (bank 1) P0174 system too lean (bank 2) and P0300. It says on the paper that the most likely solution is replacing the PCV valve. I just need help figuring out if it is the PCV valve that needs replaced, even though I know it wouldn’t hurt to replace it anyways.

Good evening,

Your information is inaccurate. The 171,174 and 300 together indicate low fuel pressure from a bad fuel pump.

I would have the fuel pressure tested to be sure that is the issue.

I just got it tested again and it’s reading faulty 02 sensors and fuel regulator.
