Good afternoon, my car is telling me that it is over heating while the car is off. I thought it was the coolant sensor, replaced that and still doing the same thing. Any ideas?

Just a few questions. Do you have the check engine light on? Do you also notice if the electric cooling fans are on/working?

Does it say that after you run it a while? Or does it say that as soon as you turn key on with a cold engine? Does it have a gauge or just a light? Is the light on or the gauge pinned high?
