About a month ago my Chrysler started to idle erratically between 800 to 1700 rpm'sand occasionally shut off on me. At first I would start driving it and it went away right away. As time went by it gradually did not go away the transmission would slip or be stuck in a gear. Then it started doing the herky jerk (like a bad O2 sensor). Two days ago something new happened, the car started to shut down things that were not needed to drive it such as; power windows and locks no longer work, no dome light, no radio, no clock. My headlights work blinkers work dash light works. Along with that the car runs worse same herky jerky slipping transmission and occasionally stuck in gear. My battery is good alternator is good. I went through and cleaned all my ground connections unless I missed one perhaps. Ia m stuck and need a vehicle so I do not lose my job. I am desperate for some insight and would appreciate and feed back please and thank you.
If it matters at all no codes and as soon as I turn key to on position the horn beeps as if I hit my key pad to lock it. Weird

A couple of things first I would make sure the battery is in good condition which you can do by following this guide.

Next I would run the codes to see what comes up, it sounds like you mat have a bad BCM

Please let me know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
