My husband's truck will not start. He tested the battery and it tested bad so we replaced it. It still would not start so we took the starter and alternator to be tested and both are testing fine. We were told it could be a grounding issue or even a brake switch relay issue but we are stuck at what to do from here anymore. PLEASE HELP!

Sounds like an auto parts guy told you that. Try another key if you have one not a new one. The diode may have mismatched and not allowing to start. Then if it starts you can reprogram the new one to the truck. If security light is on or flashing when trying to start even with other key it will need to be checked by mechanic with scanner. Also you can try what is in pic to see if that will make it start. Finally if none of this works scan for codes as it may be a bad crank or cam sensor

My husband's truck does not have a chip in the key. Does that make a difference?
