Came to a stop car shut off and would not start. Fuel pump went out change, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator. Also, light came on for throttle sensor also change. Still would not start. When add starting fluid car runs but once put foot on pedal no idle. Asked BMW exports, no help at all. Any help would be helpful thanks.

It sounds like the crankshaft angle sensor has gone bad which will cause the fuel pump not to turn on.

Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when doing the repair:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/crankshaft-angle-sensor-replacement

You will need to jack the car up safely.

Here is what it will be like on you car (below) diagrams sorry some are blurry.

Please let us know what happens so it will help others.

Found out pump went out. Change pump fuel filter still will not start. Had short fixed pump runs no pressure at fuel rail or gas coming out of fuel line. Had fuel coming out change reg went putting starting fluid to throttle body car runs, but no pedal reaction. Could it be some with the fuel sending housing when I change the filter?

I do not think it is a fuel problem. Lets scan the car for codes but a crankshaft sensor may or may not set a code.

Here is a guide:

Please run this test and get back to us so we can keep helping you.
