Hi,

I listened to the video. I am 99.9% sure it has little to no compression. It won't run like that. Either the timing belt has jumped time, or it has broken. We can do one of two things to check this.

First, a compression test will answer a lot of questions. Here is a link showing how it's done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-engine-compression

The other thing is to remove the timing belt cover and inspect the belt's condition and make sure the timing marks are correct. See pic 1 below for marks. In the pic, it shows the crankshaft timing gear. Rather than removing it, you should be able to find a mark on the pulley. On the cover, there should be a mark indicating TDC (top dead center).

Turn the engine to see if all three marks (crankshaft and each camshaft) align at the same time.

The compression test would be easier, but that is up to you. You will need a compression gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

Absolutely right about the timing belt being broken, I have replaced that. Thank you so much for the diagrams, they helped quite a bit. She starts up and runs now, new videos with new codes and live data. I have to get some more antifreeze, and bleed the Cooling system, she's overheating again. Hopefully I didn't send you a duplicate on the one those pretty sure they were too different videos.

Hi,

Is that a new code? Also, in the last video, is that now since you replaced the belt? If it is, you may be one tooth off on the belt.

Let me know. Also, make sure the air is bled from the cooling system because that can cause an overheating issue. Make sure the heater provides heat when it's on and the engine is warm.

Let me know.

Joe
