Camshaft magnet

Where does the 2 wires that plug into the camshaft magnet under the powersteering pump run to and connect to? Please help anyone

As far as the wires, they attach to the camshaft position sensor. The sensor relays a signal to the engine control module (ECM) and from that, ignition timing and fuel injector timing.

I attached a picture of the component. Take a look and let me know if that is what you are referring to. Additionally, pics 2, 3, 4 are wiring schematics that show where the wires go and where they connect on the ECM. I had to break the schematic in three because of size. I highlighted the wires you asked about.

You will note the three connections. One is a low ref, one 5 volt ref, and one CMP signal. Here is what those mean:

Low Ref = Ground
5 volt Ref = Power from the ECM to the sensor
CMP Signal = The reference from the sensor to the ECM
