1999 Cadillac STS gas guage

When I start my car, the gas gauge goes from empty to full. But then it goes down to empty and does not work at all. It started after I disonnected the hot wire from the fuse box under the back seat. I checked every fuse that said anything about gas, but have not been able to figure it out.

Could be a problem with the rear integration module or the PCM. The fuel level signal goes from the tank sender to the integration unit to the PCM then to the cluster. This might be worth a trip to the dealer so they can put it on a diagnostic scan to see if the PCM is getting signal or it is another problem
