A/C NOT WORKING

HI I HAVE A 97 DEVILLE 162000 MILES NORSTAR THE A/C CLUCH STAYS ON ALL THE TIME AND THE A/C LINE RUNING ACROSS THE FIREWALL GETS VERY HOT THERE IS R134A IN IT BUT THE A/C WONT WORK PLEASESSSSSSS HELP

Take the vehicle in and have the shop hook up an a/c machine to check pressure, it's possible there is a blockage in the system not allowing the freon to circulate properly.

Would that explain the line having frost on it but no cold air coming out the vent then it got very very hot like a hot exhaust pipe

I found out the problem with the a/c line geting hot the orfice filter was cloged and the high side a/c line sensers were bad and with the a/c compresser runing all the time someone jump the a/c compresser relay so I replaced the relay, repaced sensers, orfice fiter, and put 2 cans of r134a and 1 can of oil and got ice cold air so mybe this post can help someone
