2000 Cadillac Deville Deville won't start

I installed a sound system in 00 deville was draining my battery so I replaced the original battery with a optima batt fix that problem. Ran fine for two days then I tried to start it the starter doesn't turn over all I get is a clicking noise in the fuse box underneath the rear seat. The alarm does't seem to be working right either when I arm it and leave the window down unlock it manually the alarm does't go off like it supposed to I would really appreciate any help.A mechanic told me it might be the ignition switch.

If you had a concern with draining the battery, replacing the battery would not have solved it. In theory, it would still be draining. Have you taken a measurement of battery voltage, or tried jump starting? With the security system, have you tried arming it, and manually opening other doors? I am assuming during your check, you lock the doors with the remote, and wait until the security light goes out, and then try manually unlocking and opening a door.
