1998 Cadillac Deville V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I think that my rfa is not receiving the signal from my transmitter. I first found a broken solder point inside my transmitter. And a guy at the tv repair shop resoldered it. After I disconnected the negative battery terminal and restalled it everything was fine. About teen days later the remote with new battery would not do anything. At least once a week when open the door with the key to leave work the hornstarts to blow and I can not stop it unless I disconnect the battery and then hold down the power door lock switch. I bought a new transmitter but I am uable to program it because my digital display never shows anything but rfa code? And clear rfa codes. I do the fan up and down stuff but I never get the override rfa stuff that the manual states I am supposed to get. Also, sometimes over night or just parked for a couple of hours I have no power until I turn on the key. The next issue is with the ac. Sometimes I comes on and all is well. Then sometimes it comes on and goes right back off only to restart or not come back on at all. Last june I had the high pressure switch replaced and the system charged it gets really hot n so. Fla in the summer. Please help!

1st prob you need to go and have the transmitter reprogramed at the dealer for the door locks, they can also ck the transmitter at the parts department for free, the reprogramming may cost

as far as the AC goes do you have a AC light on? Does it go to econ?

Scan the codes, off and warmer on the heater controls with the key in the on position, this will put it into diagnostics, look at the message center for the codes. Write them down and post them here.
