This is a 93, there should be nothing to differentiate it side to side.

The only thing that comes to mind, is a thermostat that is not allowing the vehicle to reach full heat. My theory behind this, the driver side is further away from the core, and the less than hot air is cooled down by the time it reaches the driver side.
