Hi how are you doing I was just wondering why do whenever I put the heat on in my car you feel heat coming out but not through the vents the vents are open and everything is working I just don't get any heat out of the vents Ive had the car for about three months now and it's been like that because when it was still cold I would put the heat on and it wouldn't come out through the vents and it would take a lil while to warm up because it wasn't coming out through the vents but like I said it's coming out somewhere but not through the vents. Thank you have a great day.

It is an automatic system. When selecting heat, especially 90, it will blow at floor. As you transition to cooler settings, and based on interior temp, it will go bi-level, and then to dash vents. The mode is always system dependent, unless Defog, max heat, or max cool(60) is selected. Max heat will be floor, max cool will be dash. Hopefully this makes sense.
