I have a 93 buick skylark with a 3300 engine I have not driven it for about five month now but have started it periodicly the problem is the last time I tried it cranked over but would not start I don't have spark to any of the spark plugs I have checked all the fuses and they are all good I checked for codes snd only has a code 12 I was thinking ign. Module, cam sensor or crank sensor how can I tell which one it is or if it is something else any ideas?

The dual crankshaft postion sensor is the one I would lean toward. The camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft sensor are togather on this as I understand. The code 12 is saying the ignition module is receiving no RPM signal. The cam/crank sensor is responsible for that. Check the wiring first, if okay follow below:

Well ibrought the ignition module in to the parts store to have it tested today it tested good so I reinstalled it after cleaning all the connections and the car started not sure if the problem was fixed I tried starting it a few more times over the next few hours it was doing good but now same thing cranks but no spark thinking I have a bad wire to the ign. Module will have to see tomarow
