My daughter just bought this 92 Skylark. 3.3L V6 Auto. Check Engine light was on. Codes showed O2 sensor and TPS.
Both replaced and tested. Check Engine light is now out, and codes are clear but the car idles at 2000 rpm! Starts and runs great otherwise.

Pulled battery connections for 1 hour hoping to 'reset' the brain, no change.

Any ideas what to check next?

Make sure that all of your vacuum lines are hooked up or make sure they don't have any cracks in them. This will cause a very high idol.
Let me know what happens.

Did you fix the problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? I have the same problem. (Navyfred@rochester. Rr. Com)

Thanks.
