When my car is hot (been running and then I shut it off) I go to re start it maybe 25 30 minutes later ( sometimes a little longer) it doesn't want to start. It tries to turn over and doesn't ( I'll take my hand off the key and it continues to try for a few more seconds) then I turn the key back to off and then try to start it and it starts hard but does start. I think I have vapor lock and I need to change the fuel filter but I don't know were it is on this vehicle. I've only owned this vehicle for just shy of 2 months. My last car it was on top drivers side towards the top back part of the engine. Could you please help me with this and also if u can think of anything else it could be let me know. Ether way I have to change that filter. Thank you very much.

You do not have an external fuel filter. You have a strainer as part of the pump that only requires replacement when there is an issue causing you to remove the tank.

I do agree that this sounds like a fuel issue so we need to start with checking fuel pressure.

If the pressure is low then you need to replace the pump. Here is a guide that will help with this:

I attached the info about the filter. Let us know what questions you have. Thanks.
