2001 Buick Regal dash lights not working.

I have a 2001 Buick Regal GS Supercharged with 104,000 miles. When I started my car the other night, my dash lights didn't come on. The light on the clock and the odometer light comes on, but are very dim. Could someone please tell me what to do to fix this?I have already checked all the fuses. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. :Evil:

I have exactly the same unresolved problem with my 2002 LS. I have found nothing in the forums for a fix and no sign of a recall. I will look at it myself.
The LED's are bright during the day and very dim at night, the backlighting is dimmed all the way down at night.
Two years ago, we could rap on the left side of the dash and it would return to normal. That hasn't worked in one and a half years. I think it is a bad connection on the panel, a bad coil in the dimmer knob, or a disconnect at the dimmer knob.
