Steering problem
1998 Buick Regal 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

when driving the car its almost like it steers itself or atleast tries to. The steering wheel is cocked to the right about a quarter turn and it jerks around when driving. If anybody has any input id be very grateful

Hi:
Start by checking the steering components. Make sure the tierods and good, balljoints. Also, what condition are the tires in? Finally, the reason your steering wheel isn't straight is duel to that last alignment. When they set the toe-in, the steering wheel needs to be in the lock position so it will drive straight when the wheel is straight.
