Engine problem
1992 Buick Regal V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 116000 miles

I have a 1992 Buick Regal Custom, 3.8 L V6, automatic transmition with 116,000 miles. The car cranks and runs for approximately 10 minutes and then quits. You can crank it right back up but then it will die again in approximately 5 minutes. I have replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, gas cap and alternator. What do you think may be my problem?

I had the same problem with my '97 cavalier when it was only a year old! The dealer replaced the computer twice and it persisted. Finally they replaced the downstream O2 sensor and solve the problem! Apparently the downstream sensor is heated and if moisture builds up on it the sensor reads the moisture as either too rich or lean and adjusts the computer accordingly. The car would start up fine, but stall once I let up on the gas! Checkout if you have O2 sesnors and if one of them is heated. Hopefully this helps
