89 buick 98 6 cyl 3800CCs About a year ago I spent two weeks on this car. My check engine light was on with a code 41. Along the way to change out the cam position sensor I also did the crank sensor, oxygen sensor, fuel filter, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, manifold gasket, water pump, electronic control module & ignition. A few others I cant remember. After all of this I still got a 41 code (even after reset) but drove good. Up until 2 weeks ago. At 3am some fool purposely tossed his glass bottle out of his truck as my husband drove by. They were going in opposite directions. Hit the windshield right in front of the drivers view. Well my husband turned around and chased him down to get the tag number. After several miles of going over 90mph he came home and shut it down and ever since then it usually runs terrible. When I give it gas from a stop it hesitates then goes good for a bit then wants to buck and hesitate. When I come to a stop it wants to die. Not always. So I kinda feather the gas while I hold the brake. And it feels real rough. While I am at a cruising speed and let off the gas there is a consistant repetitive lag, or pulling back type of feeling. Like a timing chain slip. Still have the code 41 and now a 31. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks Tracy

Im getting codes 34 and 41 sorry!

31 is one of four things or three if not turbo! Check the MAP
Check fuel injector malfuntion
Check Park Neutral switch
If turbo Check wastegate overboost.
If you have a vacuum pump attach it to the map and see what happens!
