Sounds like your cable or cable ends on your shifter is broke. Your shifter is riun buy a cable and that sounds like the problem.

Check the adjustement of the linkage. Move the shift lever from park position to the lowest DRIVE gear. Detent should be felt at each of these positions. If detent cannot be felt in either of the position, the linkage need to be adjusted. While moving the the shift lever, pay attention to the gear postion indicator.
