Fuel pump

Hello,
Have a 1990 Buick Lasabre Custom, worked fine until Coil pack went several weeks ago, replaced it went fine for a few days, fuel pump failed, replaces it 3 times in 3 weeks, dont know why its destroying fuel pumps, any ideas, Thanks in advance :) :evil:

Sorry for the late reply.

Did you check for proper fuel pressure. If pressure too high, check return side of fuel system. If pressure too low check the supply side of fuel system, also check fuel pressure regulator. Did you replace fuel filter. Check proper voltage and ground at fuel pump. Check fuel lines aren't clogged. Check fuel pump amp draw.

I realize this is an old post. You may no longer own this vehicle. In the future hope you don't have any vehicle issues, but, if you do, keep the site in mind. They are always working to improve the site and it's free.
