My service engine light codes are 21 & 36. My book gives me a lengthy description. Could you boil it down for me in short and easy-to-understand terms? Thanks

For 21, check the TPS wiring first. If wiring appears OK, no frayed or burnt wires, then replace the sensor.

36 deals with the transmission solenoids (4 of them). For them to work properly, your TPS has to be in good condition. So fix your code 21. That should fix yout code 36.
