1993 Buick just dies

I own a 93 buick lesabre and it dies on me when I am driving sometimes and sometimes it takes awhile for it to start. I just recently replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter thinking the pump was my problem, but it still happens. It sounds like it wants to start but sometimes it can take as long as 45 minutes. Can I get some help here?

Have you checked anything in your ignition circuit [ie. Plugs, wires, cap, etc.] Also look closely for any broken wires or disconnected hoses.
