1993 Buick Lesabre engine dies right aftsr starting

For months engine fast idle would sometimes not slow down after warming up, when I shut off engine after warming up and restart it would idle at normal speed, today battery went bad and after replacing with a new battery the engine starts right away every time, then dies in one or two seconds, tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer and it still dies right away.

Seems like the idling speed is not correct and I would suggest having the throttle body and IAC cleaned and retest. If it fails to work, you would need to reset the IAC pintle.
