I replaced my cars fuel sending unit and now the car won't stay running

Welcome to the forum, I'd use a fuel pressure gage and check fuel pressure. Also, check for any possible codes? Are you saying, you think there is an issue with the pump? There should be a fuel pump test connector, close to the battery, red wire with electrical connector, nothing plugged into it. If you use a jumper wire from battery voltage to connector, the pump should run. You don't have to use the key. Use an inline fuse on the jumper.
