1989 Buick Lesabre engine

When my car is running sometimes it turns off completely and the engine feels that it wants to shut down and I just bearley changed the spark plugs and wires and I want to know what could the problem be

Yes it does restarts also I have to accelerate a little bit in order for the engine not shut down but it doesnt always shuts down just sometimes
