2002 Buick Century change engine oil soon dash light

2002 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The dash light came on, but the oil was changed 900 miles ago. The oil is not low or dark, how can I reset it? If anyone has a idea help would be greatly apprecated.

Turn the key to the run position (DO NOT START ENGINE). Press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times and wait. Within a few seconds, the light will flash or you will hear a ding. At that point, you can turn the key off and then start the car to see if it is reset. If this doesn't work, let me know.
