Hello, I am Danny.

Umm, You can try JB weld but no guaranty on how long it will hold up. You might try someone or a shop to try TIG welding it You can also try sourcing a replacement at your local wrecking yard. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Yea, it is big oops on my part. They cost $100.00 at my local U pull yard, that is if they even have mine, I do not know if the break is in a spot of "less importance" unlike a cover bolt hole or something of that nature, figured if it sits long enough the JB weld would hold it together, I know fluids get slung around in there but would it really deteriorate on that spot with no real tension going on there.

Hello again.

I understand. The fill plug is the highest point of the fluid level. If you want to go for it, maybe it will hold. That is your call. Like I said maybe find someone to TIG weld the aluminum. Let us know how this turns out.

Hello again
Whatever works! Hahaha. It shows total capacity at 2.25 quarts. Maybe just drain and put that much in since you cannot remove the fill plug yet. Good luck and hope it holds. Thanks again for using 2CarPros. Let us know if you have any other questions.
