My brakes are all the way up touching the dashboard. Something popped and now it is all loose. The cat still behaves as if its in brake mode, I can switch gears easily but it doesn't move. Its like I have my foot on the brake holding the car in place. Please help!

If brake pedal mechanical issue, did you check brake pedal arm, anything the brake pedal arm touches? Check the arm for brake booster.
