My brakes go to the floor, they come back up but very slowly running or not. We have replaced the master cylinder, hydro boost, brake lines and bled the brakes and it is still doing the same thing. Sometimes you have pressure, but then they go to the floor again. The power steering fluid is foamy (after I read one post about the 1997 Astro), so I was wondering if you think bleeding the hydro boost would help? It was working fine and one day I got in and when I pushed the brake to put it in reverse, the brakes went to the floor and I have had problems ever since. Any information would be great.

If you have abs brakes you will need a scan tool able to do the abs automated bleed procedure.I posted how to bleed brakes with abs and a scan tool. There is no way around not using the scan tool.

Thank you, I will have to see if I can rent a scan tool from the local auto parts store. I hope they have one!
