2003 BMW X5

When I brake (especially during speeds higher than 45) the steering wheel shakes. The dealer says it costs $700 to replace the rotors. Is this reasonable prcice.

I live in Orange county, California. Any suggestions as to a good (honest) repair shop, near by for BMWs.

The BMW car club might be a source for a reasonable repair facility, or see if there is a chat room for the local BMW repair shops, it might at least warn you off the bad ones and then you can weed through them. One of our administrators (Jack@2CarPros) is still involved with repairing cars and is close to Anaheim. I'll send him the hyper text.

Doesnt sound that reasonable. LOL Shop number is 562-694-8505, Lavco automotive service. We can do better than that for you
