1994 BMW 525i fuel pump

Fuel pump doesn't come on. Like to know where the DME unit is on the car and also if I were bring a wire lead with switch into the cockpit. Where is the best place to pick up the fuel pump hot wire?

I had the fuel pump bench checked and it works and the relay was replaced and gets voltage to the plug.

The fuel pump fuse doesn't get voltage.

I can't afford replacing the DME Module right now

The DME unit is located on the right rear corner of the engine compartment, next to the fuel pump relay. Fuel pump wiring will be green/violet and a brown wire. The brown wire is located below the right rear seat.

Sorry forgot to mention, the green/violet will be hot wire and brown wire is ground.
