Heater problem
1993 BMW 525i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

how do I repair my heater core?
looking for a diagram or something
or a way to skip the heater core all together
please help

I dont recommend bypassing the heater core because it is a safety issue, no defrost. Repair may be a bit too involved for the layman, are you up to the task? Blocking all the lines going into the fire wall will stop the leak. Release the clamps and insert some sort of plug of the approximate size to fill the hose, I believe 19mm is the diameter of the inlet pipes.

Bypassed the heater core now the car over heats?
Now i'm lost I need help so anyone
who can help pleas e help
dont know what to do now just want to drive my baby

When refilling, be sure to get all the air out of the system or it will over heat. Open the black plastic screw next to the radiator cap and fill the system until all the bubbles are gone, then close the screw, be careful, it is just plastic.

So far so good i'm letting the car run as we speak
but so far so good thank you I loosen the screw then fill it up a little more
so I hope it is all good
stilll would like a diagram to replace the heater core if anyone can find one for a 93 bmw 525i
cus I still wanna fix the heater core
by the end of the summer so I can have heat and defrosters in time for the snow

When I touch the gas every once and a while the car will hesitate or studder can you help me with it?
Or point me in the right direction?
