Appeared battery was low and car would not start. I charged battery, but car will not start. Towed to dealer who checked battery, alternator, starter - no problem. They asked me to drop off spare key - thought maybe the key was the problem.
I dropped key off, but shop is closed.
Could it be a fuse? Any other ideas or advise?
Taken great care of the car.

Depending on the production date of the vehicle, this could be a problem with the drive away protection that BMW refers to as EWS. When the battery goes flat it sometimes creates a need to realign the EWS unit and the DME. Keep us informed, I will mark this issue as urgent and will be standing by.
