Cranks but no start condition:

Fuel and Spark:
Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine at least 3/16 away from ground -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.

A 94 325 doesn't have spark plug wires. It has coil packs which slip directly over the spark plugs. The insulation comes down far enough around the plug, that you will have difficulty creating the right sized gap so that you can test the spark. I would suggest that you squirt starting fluid into the air cleaner. Pull the air cleaner element first, and give it short bursts starting at about a half a second. Have something on hand to deal with a backfire if necessary. If it starts, then you have a fuel delivery problem. If not, it is likely a computer or a crank sensor issue. Since there are six individual coil packs, the problem is not likely that they've all gone bad. Be sure and check for water in the spark plug valleys before you pull a plug. I've seen improper installation of the plastic covers allow the spark plug chambers to fill with water and short out the coil packs.

Good Luck
