1994 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 140k+ miles

I was referred to this site by Kyle, hoping to find Paul on here? I believe im in the right place =)

its somewhat of a long story to what happen but ill try to do my best to explain everything in detail.

Im leaving the house and at the red light off of our street. While im in neutral waiting for the green. My center counsel( radio & ect ) goes out. I mean the lights completely went out while my speedometer cluster is still barely lit. When the light turns green I put it in gear to go, but as im coming to do that - my headlights dim simultaneously with my speedometer cluster in front of me. After I put the car in 1st to drive, the car moved then it was as if the car was resisting to drive when in gear. Knowing this cant be good I U-turn to go back home and the car dies on me.

I try starting it up, but its a no go. Try again its a no go again. I get out to check the motor fluids are all good and nothing seemed wrong in there. 5-6 min pass and I try again. The car starts as if no problems had ever occurred. So I quickly try to drive home, but less then 40 sec later lights get dimmed again and since the car was in gear when I was trying to drive back, the car starts to slow down again, but when I cost the car it moves fine, but then put back in 1st, 2ed, 3ed, there is resistance and the car just wont move when its in gear and when I press the gas trying to go faster. I thankfully managed to coast the car all the way back home.

I park the car on the side street and left it there for about 2-3 weeks. My father would normally come take a look at it but hes weak from his surgery in the hospital, hence it just sat outside the neighborhood, he then asks me to bring it into a parking spot. So I walk to the car and put the key in. Radio turns on no issues, I start up the car VRROOMM. Its on.I put it in gear and it drove a lil bit better then how it was resisting to move like b4 but the car is now like a bumpy ride( I think this feelign was caused by the motor). You could literally feel the car shaking(kinda up and down) and ive never felt anything like that b4. The lights are still dim, and the car is not driving like it should.I turn the car into the neighborhood, and I can see its about to die out again, as I turn into the spot I hear an weird noise from the rear axel (it came from the back so im sure it was the axel since its not fully straight) and park the car. The next day I try to start it up again, Radio turns on but the motor wont start.I dont hear the clicking from the starter either. But because the radio works im thinking its not a battery or alternator issue.

Any incite or advise would be greatly appreciated, and thank you for taking your time to read my story to help out. I will check back to see if anyone can help out, my email is shaetoon@gmail. Com if you would like to directly talk with me, but ill be sure to come back on the form to look for a response. =)
Thank you once again,
Take care,
-Koruosh

Measure the battery voltage. If it is below 11.0 volts at rest the battery is dead or close to it and needs to be replaced. Also check the voltage when running, it should be 13.6+ volts. Let me know what you find.
